EMKorea located in Ungnam-dong, Chanrwon City, South Gyeongsang Province, is a company specializing in machine work and manufacturing, and was established in 1987. On the basis of their technology accumulated during the past years of manufacturing machine tool parts, EMkorea achieved success in developing the CNC lathe in 2002. And the company has supplied 25 kinds of products as well as the core parts of machine tools such as head stocks and saddles, tool posts for the WIA Corp. since 2003. Currently, EMKorea manufactures 2000 CNC Lathe per year.
Having more than 80 types of processing equipment such as the FMS(Flexible Manufacturing System) Line, planer miller, machining center, compound lathe, and various testing and evaluation tools such as coordinate measuring machine and noise and vibration gages, the company is among the best within the Mecca of machinery industry, Changwon Industrial Complex, and secured its reputation in the precision processing field.
Including CNC Lathes, the company independently manufactures the core parts of machinery tools such as lathes head stocks, tool posts, high-speed spindles, etc. With their own research and development capability, EMKorea also manufactures generating sets, oil hydraulic equipment, feed carry system of gun and tanks, aircraft parts, etc.
Currently, EMKorea has advanced one-step forward form its CNC Lathe manufacturing, and is developing, for the first time in Korea, the Parallel Manufacturing Intelligent Robot, which will introduce the new paradigm of the machine tool market.
In order to expand the product categories from the Parallel Manufacturing Intelligent Robot to the Handling Robot and Autonomous Mobiles Robot, so that the company can grow th be a specialized machine manufacturer, they established an institution consisting of 20 research staffs. The company invests 5% of annual sales into research and development.
